Will my wedding rings ever fit again after pregnancy?

I had a C-section 2 months ago and I still can’t get my wedding rings back on. I had a lot of swelling during the end of my pregnancy, and I also gained about 50 pounds. So I took my rings off at about 20-24 weeks or so. My shoe size went up one size, and I read that will never change. Is it true with finger size as well? I don’t want to jump the gun and get my rings resized if it’s just an issue of waiting a few more months. I’ve lost 35 pounds already, but it seems it’s my knuckle bone the rings don’t want to go over. Thanks!
