Wedding Planning Guide & Tips

I remember coming across an article in some wedding magazine where brides made centerpieces & other wedding flowers out of "filler flowers". Things like carnations, baby’s breathe, and other flowers that could be bought in grocery stores were used. Do you have tips on doing this, or know of an article talking about this?? Or do you know of websites that could help? Thanks so much in advance! I am desperately trying to save money on my wedding flowers.
